A place steeped in history
This establishment has had several lives, insurance office, restaurant, grocery store, post office and finally village café! Needless to say, it has seen all types of people pass through it over several generations.
As for the family bistro, it was built after the war in 1916 by Félix Meyer, my great-great-grandfather.
Following my grandmother's retirement (because yes, at 90 it's time to take a little rest), the café closed in 2020.

You should also know that it was in 1956 that my grandfather decided to build a garage adjoining the bistro and the family home in place of the garden.
In the past, the road in front was the main road and the latter was not bypassed by the current "main road" at the bottom of the village.
In 1981, following the bypass, the garage was relocated to the bottom of the village in order to appear on the "main road".
The old garage was therefore abandoned...
So I couldn't think of a better place than this place full of history to create my microbrewery.
